Your entire home will receive a crack and crevice treatment along the base boards. This will create a barrier around the house to help prevent bed bugs from spreading from room to room. Next, all mattresses will be treated; both sides and seams. We will follow up with a general surface spray throughout the home with heavy concentration in the bedrooms. We will repeat the procedure 2 times within 2-5 days.
Resident preparation is key to the success of bed bug elimination. Prior to the initial bed bug service the following items must be completed:
1. De-clutter unit.
2. Strip all beds.
3. Remove everything from inside bedroom and hall closets, dressers, night stands, including toys, boxes, etc.
4. Gather and launder ALL clothing, towels, linens, and store in plastic bags or bins in living room until after the treatment (if possible use laundry facility outside of the property and wash items in hot water).
5. Move furniture from the baseboards - approx. 3 feet (critical in bedroom areas).
6. Make sure there is no contact with unit (people or animals) for at least 2 hours after each treatment.
